Will this car charger let me listen to the view while it's charging?

Yes Sir! Its basically the same idea as a wall charger, which ALL Circuit Citys use so yup

All charges will let you play music while you are charging, the only time you can't is when the sansa senses a computer on the other end and tries to connect to it.

I ordered an accessories package from E-bay, 11 items including car, wall, and extra computer charging cables. The wall charger seems decent but the car charger sends engine whine back through my car stereo. I suspect I will just have to live with that, will only use it to charge while listening to the radio as I can't listen to that whine.

I was supposed to get an audio/video cable, but they put only an audio (red/white left/right) type cable with no video capability. Now I have to try to get them to fix this, wish me luck.

Oh yeah, supposedly a "free" LCD screen protector, which I think is a must. What I got was more than twice the size of View's screen, (ok u can cut it and make 2), had no adhesive properties, and really just looks kind of dingy and crappy. The saving grace was a couple of nice jelly cases and I can slip the screen protector inside of those for overall good protection.

I guess this is about what you would expect for just over $30 (includes shipping), but I won't be happy if they don't get me the proper video cable!

I'm not sure this is correct. My View goes into Charging mode when connected to the wall. I've not tried overriding it though.

It does? I thought the Sansa Sales rep said that you can listen to music while it has a wall charger? HHmmm thats odd.

It works at all the Circuit Citys O_o. How odd...they're the wall chargers too, I've personally gone through the connections...
