I found this picture somewhere, so I resized it, changed the colour and made it darker so the text shows up better :P (works best on the Ice Blue theme)

With black and white being major colors in both images, neither black nor white text works. Each gets washed out somewhere on the screen. Now if I could use red or green text...

You can adjust the brightness of the image when setting it as wallpaper to better accomodate one of the two available font colors.

I'm guessing the guide will tell me how to do this, but i just ordered my ZVM and i'm wondering how do i put custom wall papers on it? like i said, stupid question.

It's actually really easy! First, you need to put some images on your player. Then, you select "Photos" from the Main Menu, find the image you want, and tap the touchpad to display it. Then, press the Options button (the button on the lower right) and select "Set as wallpaper".

What happens next is that it will put you in a special image-editing mode, where you can adjust the brightness (scroll up or down on the touchpad), or choose the color temperature (natural, warm, cool, B&W, and sepia) by clicking the left or right arrow button aside the touchpad. Once you have the image the way you want it, tap to save. It will now be your wallpaper, and your original image will be completely unaffected.

The more i read about this player the more i'm glad i got one. it's the little things, like the face that you can change the "warmth" of the photo before setting it as you BG. that's amazing... for a hand held device? i love it!
