Is there anyway to keep the wallpaper from getting cropped by the menu bar at the top of the screen? also is there anyway to change the font color?

No, and no. The font color is either black or white depending on which theme is selected.

One way I solved the problem of the title bar blocking the top part of the backdrop was to manually edit the image on my PC. Depending on the image, I'd either crop 20 pixels off the bottom, move the image down, and pad the top; or I'd vertically shrink the image by 20px, shift the image down, and pad the top. As a result, the image itself would be 320x220 pixels, but the image as a whole would still be 320x240.

This is mine, it's the Oxford University college I recently got accepted into - Lincoln! I think it's rather beautiful. I just gotta get the three A's now and I could be there this October.

Water from the Bahamas on a recent cruise. It looks great on my white ZVM because the color is so close to the button light color.

This is my current wallpaper of a Porsche Carrera GT taken by myself at Donington Park (race circuit) during the Le Mans Series! It is quite a rare car especially in the UK!
It looks alot better on the smaller screen of the Zen though.
