Default India Wallpaper

Here's a few of mine from a recent trip to India and around Los Angeles. Some are a bit too contrasty for wallpaper.

Hmm I'm a member on Deviant art but I've never checked out the wallpapers and other pictures there yet. Thanks for the suggestion.

Oh, I have oodles of space photos on my Zen. Just not a lot on the photobucket site. Probably should correct that. The Sombrero pic is one of my favorites, and that is a fantastic hi-res image you linked. I'm a bit of an amateur astronomer and part-time cosmic philosopher so I can really get into looking at space photography.

Here's a link to a Creative forum (epizenter.net) about ZVM wallpapers: http://www.epizenter.net/e107_plugin...pic.php?2614.0 Infact it's run by the same people so you can log in with your same accounts as here.

Love that one. I've had it on my Zen and it does look pretty darn fantastic with the black one.

It reminds me of a photo I took on a plane a couple of years ago. There's a story behind it.

I was coming back from San Francisco, and was scheduled to change planes in Dallas, but we flew into Dallas in a ferocious thunderstorm - so much turbulence that I thought the lady behind me was going to toss her cookies. We were grounded in Dallas and stuck on the plane for over an hour because they closed the airport for the storm... and I took this picture of us sitting on the tarmac, close to the terminal. We'd all already been on the plane for 6 or 7 hours. By the time they finally let us deplane, I'd missed my connecting flight to XNA, and had to catch a late flight to Atlanta, which got held up by the SAME storm that had hit Dallas, so of course I missed my connection back to XNA and slept on the floor in the Atlanta airport. Except, I had no blankets, it was freezing, bright, every 15 minutes a loud voice announced that if you leave a bag unattended, it would be confiscated because of terrorist concerns, then the cleaning crew came by around 4am. From about midnight to 6am, I slept probably a grand total of 20 minutes. The next morning, I wandered around like a zombie, eating stale chocolate donuts from a vending machine, then they moved my flight to the terminal completely across the way, so I had to run for 10 minutes wearing a 35 lb. backpack, to get on a tram, to get off and run for 5 more minutes, only to get there and find the flight was delayed. I got to XNA late late that night with the worst case of jet lag in my life, and had an hour drive to get back home. When I got home close to midnight, I didn't do anything except throw my backpack in the floor and fall on the bed... and I slept for almost 24 hours straight. The end!

scullyinfurs i know what you've been through.. when i went to europe over the christmas holidays i had a couple crazy long days of travelling. my flight to england was fine, it was about 9 hours long and im a kinda person who doesnt like to sleep when they're travelling plus i was on a brand new plane that had personal tvs for everyone.. so i was plugged into that then there was a 4 hour bus ride waiting for us and with the time difference and everything by the time i got to bed i had been awake for about 30 hours i think.. leaving england to go to malta was another story.. we had to back to the airport in a taxi this time, think it was only 2 hours.. for our flight at 10:30 i dont know if anyone heard about the fog england had over around the 20nd of december but it was bad and tones of flights were delayed and cancelled, and of course one them was mine.. after a couple hours of standing in line we got new tickets for a flight at 8:30 PM!! which ended up being delayed for another 2 hours..that was a long day.. on the way back there were no problems.. just badly planned. we changed plane in Rome (2 hours between flights) then had 10-11 hours in heathrow.. managed to get maybe 2 hours of sleep. then changed air planes in edmonton that took another 2 hours then there was an hour long flight back to vancouver then a 2 hour long ferry ride and a 40 minute drive home
since the time i woke up in malta till the time i made it to bed at home it took 48 hours and i only got hours of sleep.

i am soo off topic.. how about i put a picture that i took from the plane that'll make this post legit hehe... took this picture from the plane like i said its of greenland
