Sony NWD-B103f not booting :(

a just got the mentioned sony ... when i press the power button the screen lits up and the walkman logo and writing pops up and it shuts down again .... i tryed keeping it in the USB for a day , i thought the battery was dead, but nothing. I also tryed to reset it ... nothing again, same simptoms.
Would a firmware flash be possible, if yes, would it fix the problem?

how did you fix the prob cause i have the same prob myself!!!
