Default Zen screen blinking

Hey all

I just brought a Creative ZEN 16gb and have it on charge as we speak.

Not sure if I am over reacting here but I get no blue light, no charging logo. The screen blinks and thats all.

Is that normal for something out the box? Am I just being impatient?

Hmm...seems like the bad batch of Zen's are still in circulation - there have been numerous reports of this occurring. I think you need to return your current Zen and replace with a new, working one.

Your 'blinking' or flashing is different. Since the Zen has a slow startup time, the player is booted as you plug your earphones into the jack. The flash just means that the player is 'pre-booting' so you don't have to wait that long.
