Default selected music menu and adding music

Is it possible to select a single track to play, rather than selecting an entire album? With my Zen Xtra, I could add tracks one at a time to the now playing screen. That way I could make a temporary playlist, and then save it if I wanted to or ditch it. With the new Zen, it appears that the entire album is added when choosing a single track to play. Any ideas?

It's much easier if you use SD card, otherwise I don't know how to clear now playing list completely. You should go to: Memory Card -> Browse and get back to Main Menu -> Music, if you check Now Playing list it should be cleared. Now browse to the track you want to add press Menu key and choose Add to Selected. Now you should have just that one track on Now Playing list and not the whole album.

Thanks, that worked. It should be more simple than that, but it works for me.

It took me a week to figure this out, but you can go to the now playing screen, open the menu, and select remove tracks. easy as that.

BTW, loving me new Zen. This thing rocks! And I still have my 30 gig Zen Xtra to plug into the stereo, and may Zen Nano to take jogging! Whoohoo! I'm a happy boy.

Right, and there's also an option to remove one track from now playing list.
