dont worry, the price will definitely drop soon after release.. If you want it badly then buy a separate FM transmitter

Thanks...Yep, talking about a built in FM tuner.
Before others way in with the "radio is dead" stuff, can't figure out why they left this out when it is one of the clear options (and I thought cheaper things) that would differentiate this DAP from IPODs...and given this price point ! (yes I know it will cheaper) ![]() R |

No problem Emfa...
A few minutes ago I just purchased the 16 Gb Zen (expandable to more than 48 Gb I believe)...with radio...$175 Canadian.... Sony has a nice player here, but I couldn't wait a year for prices to come down...and with no radio... Roger |

I have a Zen 32gb
and the NWZ-S618 and the sq now that I've figured out the correct eq settings (for my Zen) is pretty good but the sony's is the better of the two. I will probably be getting this as I cant stay away from the addictive sound of their new lineup. From what I can surmise the older Sony players ALL sounded GREAT anyways!!! I still remember using a portable Walkman cd player and not 1 brand sounding even close to it. Oh, well; I am slowly becoming a Sony Fanboy (Oh Lawd! - will it never cease??!!?? ) As for the radio - I find I use it not so much as the Sony makes my music sound so different and new, its like hearing it for the first time again. So I really can't say the radio is gonna' be missed all that much - even at this price point! Also, think about the fact that Sony has been around for many a moon - original cassette walkman in the 80's?? I had 1 and not many of you guys probably did.
