Default Sansa Fuze Leaked Photos
Hi, Few weeks ago there was a new version of sansa updater distributed. I notice new device name called FUZE in "about" menu. So I start thinking "Sandisk create new player, great!". On their page wasn't any press release or info. Neither on aby forum. I found some speculation that Fuze can have 16:9 touch screen like iPhone and "could be short for fusion, or the combination/integration of music, videos, the internet, photos etc."
Today I googled this. If this image really show Fuze player, for me this is a backwards step...

Unless it sounds like the Clip and comes in 16GB capacity. Then it would be a very cool little player.

It was in the Sandisk Sansa forum this morning, and also advertised at amazon.com ... a few of us in the Sansa forum started posting about it, and then poof ... the Fuze thread within the forum was gone, and then it was gone from amazon.com.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't version 2 of the e200 sound like the Clip (given their hardware similarities)? I'm personally crossing my fingers for a working v2 Rockbox port so I can snatch one up and replace my v1. (Though I agree that 16GB+ capacity is most welcome in any line of flash players.)

Oh yeah! I'm going to wait for 16GB. I hope it won't have buggy firmware and good video playback.

EDIT: The 8GB version only comes in silver :-(. The 4gb version comes in all colours.

I guess SanDisk looked a bit at the Sansa Utlima from out Photoshop a Fake contest. It's not a bad player, but it's nothing really special about it. If I would were a SanDisk guy, I would think about some touchscreen enabled device...

We all know that with most products the first generation of *anything* will have it's shortcomings and probably be buggy. At first glance it looks great...but me..I'm going to wait a while till I read some reviews on performance before I go put my hard earned $$$ on it....
