Why release a 2 gig version? It looks like they seem to be targeting the niche of the Creative Zen. The Sansa view 8 gig sells for $130 at some discount retailers, so perhaps the Fuze will soon be discounted from these prices? I can't imagine an 8 gig Fuze selling at the same price as the 8 gig View.

iPod Nano 3rd Gen 4GB: $150

$20 cheaper less for 4 more gigabytes. Just a thought.

I would like to see them go to 16gb and 32gb with this. The View is just too big. I love my e280 but realize it is topped off at 8gb likely. If I have problems with my 32gb Zen, due to arrive in a few days, I'm likely to return it for a refund and wait and see what happens with the Fuze capacity.

I do hate though, that it looks like the latest nano on form-factor (squarish).

Sandisk will probably release a 16GB version if the Fuzes are selling good.

It is obviously made to compete with the Nano and hopely it does a good job of it :-).

Most players now don't have them, the view for example doesn't. Neither do any of the IPods and look how they sell.

Hopefully you wont have to CONVERT movies to watch them on this player. One of the major drawbacks of E200 series.

Yeah...I just hate thinking that one day I'll have to chuck it in the trash just because of a dead battery? . I'll probably have my e260 longer.

btw: I went ahead and pre-ordered the 8 gig. The curiosity just overtook me...
