The Nextel i860 I've had the longest, then the Samsung A900M (Sprint), the Moto Q followed (Mainly for text/email and SERO Sprint plan!), then i425 (had Nextel plan before switching to Sprint but I still have a few DC buds, so I have Boost Mobile-that f27!455n' company gives me agita! Lastly, the Dash because I got a small talk/txt plan for my little girl but had a Nokia 6260 she loves. The Dash came free, so I threw a TMo2Go sim in it and I'm good.

I SO broke my New Year's Resolution of not buying more gadgets...

Does your w580i hang up? Meaning you have to take out the battery and then start the cellphone again...

I meant does your phone ever stop responding? And you actually have to take the battery out to turn it off

Okay, my friend's w580i doesnt respond many times and then she has to take out the battery..... I told her to update the fw, but that didnt work. Maybe a defective piece or something.

Maybe it is?
I know the volume button on mine, when i press it to iluminate the screen to see the time, doesn't work half the time so I've to turn on/off the phone. And my no.4 key has cracked down the centre so thats a bit of a pain when I need the letters GHI and I've to really press the button hard to get them to come up. But aside from that its been perfectly fine. As for taking out the battery, I can't get the back off to do that because its so hard, and im afraid of warping the sliding brackets on the phone while trying, so if mine does become faulty then I'm screwed.

How long has she had the phone? Maybe she can send it back to the shop/Sony Ericsson and get it repaired/replaced/refunded?
