I think what he is asking is that does the player support ID3 tags in Asian fonts.

Now that I saw your post, I put a MP3 file on my S618F which seemed to have a Japanese artist name and the result is artist name gets displayed as question marks.(???) I'm not sure whether its ID3 tags were unicode or not.
If anybody have a link to a sample mp3 file which has japanse, chinese or korean characters with proper encoding I will test and report the results.

Sorry for the late reply but yeah I meant ID3 tags not actual menus. It's really chinese fonts that I'm interested in the most, even though I'm mostly illiterate I can understand the language but hate having blocks or ???s show up.

No problem. It seems to show japanese filename and ID3 properly!
Sorry for low quality of picture, S610 display has far far better quality than what is shown in my picture!

It seems that with correct encoding it can show japanese, if you have any sample file with chinese ID3 I will test it too.

It may be interesting for you to know I have one of those Walkmans which does not have japanese in language settings even while it supports japanese in filenames and ID3 tags.
