Picked it up from Best Buy last night so here are my opinions, observations and comparisons to my e250:
Gave it a full charge when I got home, Windows XP picked it right up. Nice sleek design, smaller than a credit card. Rubberized back is nice. Power/Hold switch are combined. Push up for power on/off, down to lock keypad. Can be a bit tricky without a bit of a fingernail. Scroll wheel/multi-function button is very smooth and easy to use, larger and much nicer than e250. No Record button to accidentally press like on the e2xx! I like the landscape orientation of the screen better than the e2xx portrait layout. Screen is bright, clear. Text is sharp, large and easy to read, smooth scrolling. Option to change background color is nice if the bright blue bugs you but scroll wheel still has blue ring though not as bright. Menus are easy to navigate and transitions are fast. Very similar to e250 so not much to learn. Can format player or delete songs without computer. Sound quality is excelent, even to my untrained ears. Crisp, vibrant and clear. I haven't used video, photo or voice but don't intend to either. I probably forgot something, so if you have questions feel free to ask and I'll try to answer. |

Forgot to mention -
FM reception is better than my e250 tested at the same location. Fuze was perfectly clear, e250 a lot of static. Preset EQ settings seem to work pretty good, haven't tried Custom EQ as I usually leave it set to Default. |
