While I was listening to a song for about 3 minutes or so, the screen turned black and no music was present (it was technically off)... at first, I thought that the battery just ran out, so I plugged it into the laptop, but when I went to my computer and clicked on the zen v plus icon, it said "Device not connected" and the device itself shows no signs of being charged. I tried to reset it, but nothing happened... I also tried to turn it on/off, but still... nothing... I even tried holding the on/off button while holding the reset button, and yup, you guess it right... nothing happened... what the hell am I supposed to do? It's practically dead! HELP!

Have you tried charging it with a usb wall charger ? Perhaps the battery is so empty that computer's current just won't cut it.

Did any lights start flashing blue when you plugged it into your computer, indicating it was charging?
When you pushed the reset button in the small hole, did you actually feel the button press and release? Did you notice the battery level before it went out? If the battery is really dead, a wall charger may be a good idea to try, like already mentioned.

Yes,
Save your systems resources. Purchase a USB wall charger. You can purchase them from Amazon and ebay for cheap. You can probably purchase from a local store in your area, I'm an just an Amazon/ebay junkie. |

I have the same issue. I have the wall charger for it, and it's been plugged in. When it is plugged in it is blinking blue. I've tried resetting it by pushing a pin in the hole - but nada. Any suggestions?

Let it sit plugged in for a few days to see if it turns on, if not, try another battery. If it is new enough you can try returning it or taking advantage of its warranty.
