When I attach my ZVM to my home stereo I have to use the dongle because the headphones line out quality leaves a lot to be desired for. Is there a way to change this through a setting on the player or should I maybe be using a different cable?
I recently got a car docker that doesn't allow room for the dongle so is there a 3.5mm that bypasses the dongle and goes straight into the unit? I have a wall charger, car charger, and usb charger like this... There must be a 3.5 audio out too right? |

Sadly, if you want hi quality line level audio out which by passes the weak internal headphone amp then you have to go via the data port on the bottom of the unit.
This cable avoids the use of the dongle as is terminates in a data port plug http://www.amazon.co.uk/U-Bop-Creati...7831692&sr=8-2 The alternative is to get the docking stand as seen here http://www.amazon.co.uk/Zen-Vision-M...7831854&sr=1-8 There is a 3.5mm socket on the rear of this beauty which will do audio and video best of luck

I recommend the second because it allows you to charge it at the same time (assuming you have a cable for it)
