I'm new to MP3 players. I recently bought a Zen V Plus. I installed all the PC software, which seems to have 2 programs that do the same thing. The Zen series media explorer and the creative player/organizer. Neither seems to be intuitive and I read here that Winamp will work. Basically I'd like some opinions on the best (windows explorer like) software interface and whether I should try to use Winamp and delete the other stuff.
In advance - thanks. |

What version of Windows are you running?
I personally use WMP11. Media Explorer is not a bad program if you like a drag-and-drop interface, though it is more limited than if you use Windows Explorer and have WMP11 installed.

ZenChick,
Thanks for your reply. I am running Windows XP Media Center edition. The issue that I have been experiencing is that what is shown on the desktop (whatever software I use as an interface) does not match what exists on the Zen V Plus. I was hoping for an application that would allow me to create all the playlists and music files on the desktop and then just sync to the player. Does this exist? Tango Yankee |

Okay, not so sure about MCE... But WMP is a true sync manager - meaning, whatever is on your computer (whatever you allow WMP to see or sync) will be on your player. You can create playlists with it, and they'll sync over - syncing any songs that may not be in your player if need be.
Oh, and Yankee Victor Whiskey.
