Default Anyone tried the Insignia NS-BT300F adapter with Sony Home Theater?

I have tried connecting this adapter ( http://www.ecrater.com/product.php?pid=2195744 ) to my Sony home theater system via a TDM-iP10 ( http://www.sonycenter.lu/pdf/TDMIP10.pdf ).My Pilot finds the Insignia adapter and connects but there is no sound from the speakers. I know the unit functions because I can connect to several other iPod suppored boomboxes and entertainment centers (on display at a local Best Buy store) and the sound is good.

As a side note, the volume is not controllable via the Insignia Pilot but by the the other audio equipment instead. So I guess the output of the Pilot via bluetooth is a constant level digital signal. I don't think the volume level is too low to be detected by the Sony adapter.

Anyone have any ideas or solutions to this issue?

Cheers,
John

The only information I can provide is that the Pilot's bluetooth output is indeed a fixed level output. (wish it were not though).

that adaptor seems to be a little particular. I have had it for quite awhile and it works fine with my Pilot. I have it connected to the iPod adaptor on my home stereo and it works fine there. When I tried it in my truck, the truck radio would have nothing to do with the Insignia adpator, but was just fine with an Anycom FIPO bluetooth adaptor. Go figure.

And, yes, the sound level is adjused through your equipment, not through the Pilot.
