Anyone got any good ideas for buffing out scratches?

Hey guys. I took my screen protector off about 2 months ago because it was starting to get bubbles underneath it and it looked shit. I thought it would be fine. Within 2 days it was scratch city haha. I want to get a new screen protector for it but I want to get the scratches out first!

Look up solutions used to get rid of scratches on the iPod (there must be hundreds!!), I'm sure the same fixes will work just as well on the T10

I can recommend T-Cut the car car restorer liquid, a soft cloth, and GENTLE polishing. But don't shake it first, it's less abrasive that way. Got a nasty scratch (could feel it with my fingernail ) out of my T10 screen

Hey thanks guys. I have done some research and popular opinion seems to be to use a soft cloth or polishing bit for a drill and use either brasso (metal polish) or a low grade paint cutting polish. I'm going to try it this weekend.

On a similar tip to sailcat, Brasso works for getting scratches out of plastic. Good luck!

Toothpaste is good for light scratches but it can be messy.

I have so many fucking scrathces on my screen. Need to remove them.
I cant get any of the stuff you mentioned above in India. Not that i can't afford 'em.

Of course you get toothpaste! Hahaha. You think we use some herb or what? :P
I have fucked up big time.
1st: I used Acetone(nail paint remover) with cotton. It SCREWED my screen big time.
More Scratches, Marks etc. Fail!
Then i used white toohpaste with cotton. It did some good work and removed some marks and lightened up the scratches. But you can still see MANY scratches.
Once i find out how to remove the scratches i will put up a scratch guard and also use a nano 2g cover or something.
But i need to remove the scratches first. I think i might be able to find brasso here, But any suggestions which type should i get and how do i use it?

Only thing I know for removing really heavy scratches is automotive rubbing compound followed by plastic polish/scratch remover.

It's no worse than using solvent. If they are that deep you'll need something pretty abrasive. You could start with a fine compund and go more abrasive if that doesent work. Then once the deep scratches are gone, hit it with a platic glaze or scratch remover. You might try just try the plastic polish with a electric buffer. Might take awhile though but there is less chance of adding scratches.

OMFG! I got brasso in a hardware shop and then used it on my t10. It worked. It looks new now.
