Default iriver IFP 895 - can't convert MP3s
Hi, I got an iriver IFP 895 two Christmas's ago and just tried using it. I have a mac and tried dragging music files into the folder of the Music Manager, but when they come over, they appear as documents, not MP3s. How do I convert them? Unable to find any valid firmware for mac. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm thisclose to stuffing this little pain back in the drawer and getting an ipod.

You can also check out http://www.misticriver.net/forums/ which is a forum for iriver and they have a section dedicated to the iFP series.
