Wall Charging for A816 Requirements

My girlfriend just got a A816 and I keep seeing 800mA as the recommended amperage but I can't seem to find where that spec comes from.

I figured the standard 500mA would be enough since that's the amperage from a usb port. So I'm wondering where the 5V, 800mA spec is coming from

That said, would 5.3V be too much (500mA)?
