Thumb Down It's sad but I am done with Pilot

Bought Insignia Pilot 8G back back in 2007 months ago after I tried and returned Samsung YP-P2, since I wanted a card slot and buttons for control. Initially I was initially very excited with the future set of Pilot, especially support for Rhapsody on the GO and built-in bluetooth and was eagerly waiting for updates. I was ready to forgive them initially clunky UI , since I thought it's a new product and I was ready to give them a chance.

Nothing come since then, moreover I am now very skeptical they will come with ANY update at all. May be they've already decided to pull it out of the market completely and come with something new. Meanwhile YP-P2 have 3 updates and 4 is on the way. Moreover it has already appeared in 16G edition which makes lack of SD slot less critical and (a huge point for me) there is a possibility of Flac support as part of 4th update.

I don't know why Insignia behaved this way, may be they decided to pull out of MP3 players market completely.
Very sad and disappointing story. It wasn't a lot of money for me (150 or something + case), but still

If YP-P2 16G will have Flact hen tere is no brainer and I am ready live with touch screen for controls, but even without Flac I'll most likely go for it.

Looks like Insignia doesn't give a damn about their customers.
So very sad It might became a good product with a little bit of investment
