Smile m4a support?

Hi there!

I recently bought a Creative Zen Vision:M, which I love!

I previously owned an iPod, so I have all of my CDs uploaded through iTunes into m4a format. I attempted to drag and drop my m4a tracks onto my Creative Zen player, but they don't seem to have been recognized. I might try it again, but I guess my question is:

Does this player support m4a format files?

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but it'd be great if someone could help me out this time! Thanks!

No sorry. MP3, WMA, and WAV are the only audio file types supported. M4A files will need converted.

Thanks - do you have any suggestions for m4a-to-mp3 converters? (Preferably something that I can download for free.)

Well, since you have iTunes, you can use it. iTunes has an option to convert the non-protected m4a files to mp3. I believe you can also use MediaMonkey.

Thanks for the advice!

I downloaded MediaMonkey and am using it to convert my files as we speak.....it's taking a while, since there are so many, but it's doing the job!
