Default A question about the backside of the 8GB (Silver) Fuze

Hey, does the 8GB Silver Fuze have a metal backside or a rubberuzed backside ? Thanks

I hope mine will arrive later today in the mail, so I'll report back if it does.

It's metal, but kinda rubbery metal
It doesn't scratch, though
It's really hard to explain; just buy it!

It arrived! Yes, the backside appears to be metal that has a rubberized (silicon?) coating. Makes it easier to hold without having it slip out of my hand but it isn't so sticky that it won't slide easily into the little felt case that came with the player. In other words, it's just about right.

I have the 8 gig Fuze and the best way I can describe the back is a...grey gun metal finish. The back is metal not rubber.

It's definitely metal but it feels like a non-slip coating has been applied as well. Maybe yours is from a different production run and doesn't have the coating.

Mine does have the coating. Should have been more specific.

Yeah I got a $50 gift card for Futureshop so I'm just waiting until I see something good to get.
If I choose the Fuze: $130 - $50 = $80

2GB = $65 - $50 = $15.
8GB mSD = $35.

Total: 10GB/$50

Also grab a silicon case and clear screen protector. Definitely worth it.
