Editing U3 content?

I am new to mp3 players, and need some naive help.

My U3 is now "full", and a I need to start taking soem files off to add more music.

The display in Emodio just ists all the files in alphabetic order, and it takes some time to track down each file on a particular album.
Is there an easier way of finding files to delete?

Should I have used folders to organise the stuff on the U3?

Should I use software other than Emodio (I am on firmware 1.13 EU)

you could get foobar, and open the u3/music folder, it should list all your files, then you can remove them from inside foobar, thats how i do it
