S61X constantly freezing up
Hey all,
I have the S618, or whatever the 8 gb is called, and it is is constantly freezing. I reset and format it and soon as I put songs on it it does it again. I thought I may have some corrupt files on it but now it is doing it without songs on it. I emailed support and they recommended that I take it back to the store I got it from, but I recently moved overseas and can't do that. Does anyone know how to COMPLETELY reformat this thing or redo the firmware? Thanks!

Seems like you probably have a faulty S618. After you reinstall the FW if it doesn't clear up the prob then you may have no choice but to send it back to the purchase location for an exchange of refund. My player started doing the same and eventually died before I had access to the FW to reinstall myself. Please, keep us posted to see if this fixes the issue.
