Default Sansa e260 "Blue Ring of Death"

Hi guys this is my first day on here so now you know.

A couple days ago I had a "Refresh Database Fail" error and I downloaded files and then I kept getting something like "Not enough Room on Device. Please Free 6MB's". I then downloaded version.txt and now my mp3 player doesn't turn on only blue ring.

I've heard bout e200tool and I really don't know anything about Linux besides the fact that I don't like it and I just don't understand what to do to fix this issue.

Welcome to abi Gutty23, sorry about your misfortune :/

You need to identify that it's a v1 series, if so you can follow the method here. If it's a v2 series and it's still under warrenty, call SanDisk for RMA.

Thanks man, it successfully made it to Recovery Mode. I thought I was gonna need to buy a new one. I'm putting this site in my favorites.
