Hi guys, hope you can help me.
I sat on my Zen and needless to say my screen is now cracked. It still works fine and with the random album button I can still sort of browse. So to prolong the battery I want to disconnect the screen. I already opened the Zen, but now I am not how to proceed. Probarly the best option is to disconnect it by the connector (first picture). But how? Do I pull it, lift the grey platic thing, or is there a better way?? Some pictures to clearify ![]()

You'll need to pull the black tab circled in red, in the direction of the green arrow. Just flip it up, then pull the LCD screen out.

Hello zenzenzen. Welcome. You may want to consider purchasing a replacement LCD. Do a google search on Zen repair and you should find some options. Good luck!
