Ok, so as I have read on the forum, and kind of assumed anyways, the Creative software is unnecessary, and maybe even troublesome.

If you uninstall the software, how does that affect the zen syncing with Outlook? - That is a pretty big feature for me, and I honestly use it A LOT!

All of the files that are currently on my zen have been put there using "drag & drop"... I also am not real familiar with id3 tags, so a lot of my music is kind of organized weird, but I think I might be getting the hang of that...

Hello timalan. Unfortunately, you will need the Creative Software in order to sync with Outlook. I'm not aware on any other way to do so. If you have the software installed and everything is working correctly, I wouldn't worry about uninstalling especially if you sync with Outlook.
