I'm thinking about buying a Zen or a Samsung T10. I listen to a lot of dance mix mp3's, and they are often 60 to 120 minutes long. I want a player that can very quickly fast forward through these tracks, and by quick I mean getting through 30 minutes in 10 or 20 seconds. I have been told that the Samsung T10 does this, but does the Zen have this feature?

Hello Ben123456789. Welcome.
I can fast forward or rewind an entire 2 hour movie in about 12-14 seconds. It is slow at first, but the longer you hold down the button, the quicker it goes. Eventually skipping ahead by a seconds, then by minutes, and then by a few minutes (looks about 5 minutes or so at a time). I don't have any audio tracks that long, but they seem to ff/rw just the same.

Thanks, much appreciated! Having looked around, the Archos 405 is about the same price and has a bigger screen, so I'm going to go and ask the same question on the 405 forum now!
