Default strange error message

now this is wierd........

when I try to drag and drop an video file (encoded using zen x-fi video converter) using windows explorer I get the message

"The file xyz.wmv has one or more properties outside of device limits. If possible, use a media program that can convert the file before copying it. If you copy the file now, it will be stored on the device, but may not be presented in the device user interface. Do you wish to copy the file to the device anyway?"

What!!!!!!?????

Could this be creative trying to scare people into using their software?

Not really

Whats its saying is that the file format or the resolution exceeds the device limit and it's telling you to use the software to convert. If you do continue to copy the file over to the player the player may not play in the device

Nothing scary about that

Just ignore the message and put your vid on your Zen. They should play correctly because you already converted the vid with their software.
