adding pictures help

I've had no problems with music or audiobooks with my Zen V. I tried, for the first time, to add some pictures and I keep getting the message they're in the wrong format. They're jpg. I can't find a reference to what format I need to convert to in order to have pictures show.

What is giving you the message, the computer or the Zen?

It was the computer. I finally figured out that the pictures were too large. I shrank them and now they transfer. Thanks
