That price will certainly come down once the big stores (mp3-player.de, amazon.de, amp3.co.uk) start selling the O2.

To be honest, I've never heard of technikdirekt.de before... and they sure wouldn't get my business with these prices.

You don't think EUR 450 is too high, when the same player is sold here for EUR 279?

European stores only seem to have the 16GB in black and the 32GB in awful white at the moment. There is hope!

Good find dfkt, I certainly thought that only offering white in 32gb was a mistake, nice to find out other wise. BTW, I see the black 32 here for $299.99, seems resonable for an introductory price.

Seeing the price difference (8GB = $219, 16GB = $249, 32GB = $299), the price seems quite fair. And makes me wonder if anyone would even buy the 8GB version.

pricing is exactly what i expected and battery is better then the A3 what is there to complain about ?

I guess I expected something a little closer to the D2. I understand there is a larger screen to feed, but at least 24hr for music would have been nice.

However, I still consider O2 as D2 sucessor, instead of a D3. I mean, just look at them. Pretty much the same shape and functions.

Does anyone know about O2 tactile buttons?

it has very little tactile buttons. i believe only Volume, and power/hold switch.

im pretty sure O2 = flash and touchscreen replacement for A3 not D2
