sit on fatwallet or slick deals and search for "fuze" constantly.

i scored the 8GB for $79 when it was listed there
it was sold out in a day so be dilligent and pull the trigger whne you see a price you're comfy paying.

You really got an 8 gig Fuze for $79? I have seen such low prices, however I have not heard of people actually being able to buy players at those prices. Often very low prices are bait and switch, or they just list it as being out of stock unless you buy many overpriced accesories with it. The lowest price I see now from a reliable retailer for the 8 gig Fuze is $100+ shipping from B&H Photo. They had it at $92 plus shipping a few days ago.

i knew i wanted one and i thought $79 was a great price when i saw it so i jumped on it.

they were sold out in a day and i haven't seen it drop that low since either (i want to get another one for the wife so i'm watching)


fatwallet and slickdeals.net are great places to catch these deals
but you have to be quick and ready to pounce when you see it.

be patient, i know it's easier said than done
but it pays off.

Buy.com has had the black 4gb Fuze listed for $62 since the mentioned deal expired, even until yesterday; when I went back to buy it TODAY, the price had jumped to $80-something! Just my dumb luck.

Can anybody find a better deal? That really ticked me off.

I just bought 8gb Sansa Fuze at amazon.com for $99.99 - $15.00 (Live cash back) and free shipping.
I had to purchase another item to get total price to $100 for $15 off, otherwise it would have been $10 off.

You almost have to check Amazon on an hourly basis. I watched a digital camera have 4 price changes in 24 hours.

Thanks, that looks great...but I'm gonna stay picky and still look for a black Fuze. I've just got this thing for black players. I realized all the cases show the scrollwheel (which would be the color of the player).

Lookin' for a 4GB Black Fuze...the search continues.

Buy.com has gone up AGAIN!! $100.38 total for the 4GB black Fuze--the same player they were selling for $50-something about a month ago! Wow.

Amazon now has the player for around $80 shipped. I'm just wary because you never get much information about the product other than the factory description...

I think I'll keep looking...knowing that it was once like $57 on Buy.com really makes me want to wait for a better deal. I know as soon as I finally put down the money and buy it, I'll find it way cheaper the next day.
