Like others, I'm tired of waiting for the promised-but-never-delivered FW update. When I bought it a year ago, it was the only player that had both SDHC and Bluetooth, but are there any other players today with this pair of features?

bump. My pilot just broke, and I don't want to give up either feature.

Same with me...my screen broke, and it's under warranty, but I'm not exactly sure how the manufacturer's warranty works. I've been looking for another player that has both of these features as well

Use Google...Google is your friend.
enter "mp3, SDHC, bluetooth, player" and *poof* the answer magically appears. http://209.85.165.104/search?q=cache...nk&cd=12&gl=us ...smiles... http://www.anythingbutipod.com/archi...-bluetooth.php You could also get a PPC with Bluetooth and run The Core, TCMP, 40iPlay and have GPS and a Windows Mobile PC as well (my "other" Insignia is an iPaq...see pictures of my portable setup on my user page.) |

That Panasonic looks retarded if you ask me. There is an S2 with 16gb (but no expansion) available. It doesn't have the TV-Out function like the Pilot though.
You can also get a few cell phones now with decent MP3 functions and bluetooth/sdhc support. Many of them are Windows Mobile but there are some that are not. I have an LG Vu that has a full touchscreen, full bluetooth, full browser and SDHC support. Unfortunately it only supports 4gb SDHC at the moment. There is supposed to be a fix for that but there hasn't been any info about it in a long time. I don't mind right now as I only need about 2gb for my current favorites playlist. I still have my 60gb iPod in the car as my jukebox. The recently leaked replacement Pilot would probably be your best bet if you can wait for it. |

I've heard amazing things about the cowon d2, so I'll probably go with that, even though it doesn't have bluetooth

The pilot is awesome and it's simple if you know how to put music and organize it like I do. But then again, it lacks a bunch of things, and it has too many issues. Txt files, now playing list, things like that need to be fixed. I hate the fact that the now playing list keeps erasing when I record FM radio. I also hate the txt file function. When I tried to view my txt lyrics, and play song at the same time. I can't even pause it or fastforward/rewind it while in the txt page. It's too complicated to follow the lyrics.

Take it back to Best Buy with the receipt. They should replace it. |
