Default Refurbished 30Gb Vision M now available

The Creative US site has refurbished black Vision M's for $119. A very good price.

This is one of the reasons I love Creative. When they get enough returns they scab together with some new parts/spare parts their products and sell them at a discount. Their players are easy to use for the laymen and anytime you can get a product that scored best in show at CES on the cheap I'm all about it. Every player I've ordered from the refurb rack has been in A1 shape and at a fair price. I've tried to steer plenty of people towards this site, I'm happy someone took advantage of the deal

I've heard all the same regarding their refurb products. One of their strong points for sure.

Sounds like the battery is dead/disconnected http://support.creative.com/warranty...id=16002&cid=1 I would send it back and I'm sure they'll send you another one

Well.... if it won't turn on, it won't reset, show any lights, or be recognized by the computer. Agree; it sounds like a dead battery. They should be able to replace it for you without issue.

I ordered (and just received) a Zen V Plus and a Vision:M from the refurb site. Long story short, the Vision:M has problems and needs to be returned. It took me four tries to get the registration software to find and recognize the Vision:M, and in two days of listening it's locked up on me three times and I've had to press the reset button. I've had a Sleek Photo for a couple of years without ever hitting reset, and my jukebox 2 went for 5 years without a reset.

I'll be arranging for a return/replacement. I'll let you know how it goes.

That sucks cromag. Perhaps you will have better luck with the replacement.

How long do you think these will be up for?

my ZMV broke last year and my birthdays on Nov. 19.

I'm afraid that if I don't give my mom a specific player to get me ill end up with an Ipod Nano (donotwant.jpg)

I'm just wondering if this is an offer that will be up for a wile or if its get it before its gone.

Who knows really.... Have you tried calling up Creative to ask them? Maybe ask how many they have. It will most likely depend on how many they have and how many people buy them. They usually don't stay available long due to people buying them up pretty fast.

Just notice that creative still has the Vision:M still for sale, strange they always sale out fast and now they are still for sale and even midnightbox.com has them for sale.
I'm happy they are still up for sale but am wondering why so long. If I already did not have 3
I would buy another

Since you have 3, feel free to buy me one if you feel the need to buy another.

I just bought one from Creative. I have one that started acting up after about a year and a half. When you plug in the AC power to charge you have to move around the adaptor that goes into the Creative Zen Vision M and sometimes it turns on the unit and if you keep trying you will eventually get the charge to turn on. Do you think it is worth getting fixed and if so can someone tell me where to send it for repair. Thanks so much.

Sounds like a possible bad dongle, loose AC port in dongle, bent pins in the data port, or a loose data port on mainboard. Yes, I think it is worth getting fixed. If it is a dongle problem, get a new one. If it is a mainboard issue, purchase an as-is ZVM from EBay and do a mainboard swap.
