I know right? Lol I was doing a bunch of resarch about Mp3 players, I knew I had about $100 to spend. I was going to go with the Creative Zen 8gb for $99 and out of pure luck came across the ZVM on the creative website. I just about leaped out of my chair for my credit card. Ofcourse I did alot of research, which led me to anythingbutipod.com ^.^ and found that pretty much the only down side was that it was made with soft plastic, so I bought the DLO action Jacket with it. All in all I am 100% satisfied, as I am one of the lucky few [Or so Ive read about people getting refurbed ZVM's and have em die in like 2 days of getting it] who got a fully working refurb that was in nearly mint condition. It even came pre charged lol.

..... At the time of testing. Batteries do drain when sitting for some time and with Lithium-ion batteries, they don't liked to be drained severely or you can easily get this issue. It doesn't really matter is the unit is a refurb or not.

Is ita good idea, buying one of those refurbished for a good price or is it going to die out after a few months?

Default Creative 60 Refurb

Does the creative 60 refurb still have the customer eq? It doesn't appear to be listed in the specs. It only list preset eq's.

thanks!!

It runs the latest firmware, so I don't see why it wouldn't be exactly the same as my 60gb ZVM which has it.

I have had mine for nearly 2yrs. No issues ever. Looked brand new when I got it still does since it's always been in case from day one. Worth the price.

Thinking about doing this myself tomorrow,as they have them again. So, the general comsensus is that's it's worth it?? I'm picky about it being in flawless condition cosmetically. And of course working properly.

The ZenVm I bought 2yrs ago was in flawless condition & has worked perfectly the whole time. It's black & it had NO scratches not even the barely noticeable ones like it has now on the touch pad. I ordered 3 at the same time. (one for me 2 for friends) All in the same condition when purchased. All still working.

Good to hear....thanks for that. I've read a few posts where some people have had some issues, but I think more have had a good experience.

It had no scratches. it works perfect. good price, good player.

Cool! Well, I just ordered mine, so hopefully I get a mint one. I feel confident I will, based on the feedback here. Thanks!
