Anyone want my dead (hdd) ZVM30 ?

My ZVM30's hard drive is dead...the body of the player has had a rubber case on it for its entire life. the screen has had a protector on it for its entire life. it is used but the body is in very good condition.

I dont have the time to try to install a new hard drive, though I know many of you on the forums may be interested in a tester or just to rip it up for fun.

If anyone is interested, contact me.

it doesnt get past the boot screen, the hdd clicks... typical of a bad hdd... if you are interested in working on it or with it i dont mind sending it your way.

i was hoping to donate it to the testing / experimenting cause though

my zvm has stoppped charging, and i have tried replacin the battery and reloading the firmware and all that. i think my main board is damaged. i would love to take yours off your hands. if you want to take it apart then i would just want the board or if you dont then i can take the whole thing. i could just put my hard drive into your old zen i it should work.

Exactly my plans. I want to try putting a larger hard drive in it, and any other mods that I think of. I want to take it apart and see how it all works.

I just gave my Zen Micro to my bud, so don't have one to mess with. I use the ZVW on a daily basis and my Muvo while skiing, biking, etc.

Hmmm I might be interested. Always wanted a Zen Vision M to install a bigger hard drive on or switch the body with mine (its a little beat up my daily MP3 player; scratches everywhere). Then I could still use your internals and my old case to experiment on with a bigger hard drive or etc. Since my Creative Vision:M is my daily player I haven't been able to really experiment with hard drives or anything complicated; only installing a new battery (which did a job on the case). Also I'm pretty close to you I'm in NJ. How much are you looking to get?

Not looking to start a bidding war guys... was just gonna send it to whoever at the cost of shipping.

I guess I could part it out. Emjay replied first so if he is willing to prepay shipping then its his.

Other than that, Rollingalong wants the motherboard / battery and teamjordan wants the case... I think I could make that happen if you guys are willing to pay shipping.
