Exclamation Whch frmware do i need? i think i'ts MTP
Hi there,
I'm from New Zealand and i bought a T10 from a 'Dick Smith Electronics' store (4gb) and I have no idea what type of firmware it needs.

On the back it says (serial # hidden)

I think it's MTP cause wen i connect it 2 S.M.S v5, it shows up under portable device as "YP-T10 (MTP)" nd the video converter shows the same thing.

Last night i updated it to the "T10 MTP Jellmon" which went all OK. it is now on that firmware.
When i go to the T10's settings menu and select 'About' it says

All I want is for me to be able to have the latest firmware (btw i don't buy music online at all) which has all the Skins and games it can possibly have .
Which files/tools do i need to get this - and do i need to hack it??

I've read almost the whole of this forum nd found my answer:
I've updated to the Korean MSC 3.06 firmware and now I have all the things I wanted - BUT the multiple skins. I read through a little more and found that you can only have one skin at a time.

Please Post back if I'm wrong.

You're correct, although each of the themes do offer multiple menu styles.
Another thing though ..... in NZ Harvey Norman is flogging off the 8Gb version for, from memory, $NZ169. Hope DSE didn't charge you the $same$ for the 4GB.
