Major Firmware Problem: Ratings Do Not Save When In Shuffle Playback Modes

Everyone should try to save ratings for their songs during shuffle no-repeat mode or shuffle repeat mode.

In my new Insignia Pilot 8GB, if I set a rating for an mp3, and then I go back to the song, it wont save!

Is anyone having the same problem? Is there a fix for this?

I have the same issue. The rating feature seemed to be a good idea but on mine it will save if it feels like it and when I sync to the computer it clears all the ratings. I have given up on rating my music.

My problem is that the ratings save on the internal memory, but it doesn't save on the external memory.

It saves during normal playback, but it doesn't in random playback.
