Hello,
I'm considering buying a Sony e436 mp4 player and I would like to know if I can delete files on the player. If not possible, can I use the wishlist to make files dissapear (like for example telling the player to play only the songs on the wishlist). Thank you in advance, Balazs |

I think whatever you use for transfering the file, you should use the same method of deleting the file
for example, if you transfered the file with drag&drop with Windows Explorer, delete the file with WE If you used Content Trasfer program supplied, delete the file with it in the extended option menu. There's already a new firmware update, be sure to update it before you transfer anything. And read the manuals |

Thank you for the answer. But what I meant was that I would like to delete a song when listening to music. When I encounter a song which I do not want to hear in the future, I want to delete or disable it.

The ONLY way to delete music, or any file from a Sony player, is to hook it up to a computer and remove it. Sony does not allow deletion directly from their devices ATM. Hopefully, in the future, they'll include this option in their players. For now, sadly, it doesn't seem to be a consideration.
