![]() But it won't be stable, you can change the fonts, and MTP is part of the original firmware (and sp you can change it there). |

Congrats on the success, if your running one of the latest builds, I find them very stable.
Try dfkt’s wps up in the thread above or go under settings, theme settings and check out other themes. You have an older build, AFAIK the radio does work see here. Like I said ^ you have an older build, on the newer ones that doesn’t happen. But all you need to do is boot to OF and change it back.

Boy, Rockbox sure kills the battery life! But so much better controls. Once I get the podcast sync under control, this will be great!

Darn. Everything was so good... Now the clip just died. Battery was low, shut down and now nothing when plugged into the computer...

Update. Sansa not dead. Just needed a hard reboot (hold power down for 20 seconds). It's alive again!

New clip test build. Won't produce any logging output, but contains several proposed fixes to buffering to improve stability on low memory targets. Seems better to me.

I've been looping that build for almost 18 hours without a crash. I think this fix is a pretty good one.

Saratoga, the new build still crashes my Clip instantly, with either "undefined instruction ..." or "data abort ...", same as the one before it. Going back to the logging builds still works fine. I removed my config.cgf to see if anything in there causes trouble, but same results.

Also if you have any idea how to produce the crash please let me know. I've been running for more then 24 hours straight without a crash. Edit: Also your bootloader SVN version would be interesting to know. Last edited by saratoga; 11-17-2009 at 05:32 PM. |

saratoga not sure which bootloader dfkt is using, but I'm using one of his older ones and it worked fine, been using since earlier today and still no crashes

Those addresses are all in the decoders, so I guess they probably mean the audio buffer just contained junk and the codec crashed trying to parse it.
Could you try checkdsk or formatting? It could be that the file system is damaged from a crash and rockbox's FAT driver is just reading garbage into the audio buffer. |

Went to work with the Panasonic formatter in full mode (~20 min), re-flashed the bootloader... same results. This build crashes within a few seconds, while your old logging v2 and v3 builds work fine.
EDIT: I just downloaded the automatic build newest version, r23660-091118 - same errors. So it seems it's not these patches, but something that's already in SVN. Seems somewhere between r23121 (your v3 logging build which works fine) and r23293 (your first move handle build which crashes my Clip) might be the issue.
