Cool copy from Zen to Zen

Hi

I have a 30 gig Zen wich contain over 9 gig of songs.
For each song i went into properties aand i fill Artist, Album, Song tite and category

I recently bought a 16 gig zen and I am trying to transfer songs from the old Zen to the new one.

I cannot add songs directly from the old Zen. What I have to do is copy songs from the old Zen to the hard drive of the computer and then from the computer to the new zen. For me this not realy a problem.

The main problem is taht when I do this, i loose all the properties (Artist, Song title, Album title...) As it took me long time to fill properties for the songs in the old Zen, I don't want to start again.

So my question is :
Is there a way to copy from Zen to Zen without loosing informations ?

Thanks

did you fill in the tag information while the songs were on your player? If so, that's why none of the information stuck.

You have to tag all your songs while they are on your computer and then sync them to a player.

Sorry, but you are going to have to copy your songs off you player onto your computer, use Media Monkey or MP3Tag to tag the files, then you can put them on the Zen

Good luck

Welcome jeaanulrich00. In addition, it is best to use an ID3 Tag editor program like MP3Tag or music manager software like WMP or Mediamonkey. That way the metadata actually gets saved correctly and in the right version/format.
