I dragged and dropped a ton of different MP3's onto the View but cannot find them when trying to listen to them.
The are all albums in individual folders if that makes a difference. I can see them when I am syched up to the computer viewing the mp3 player as an additional jump drive but I cannot find them on the view itself. Any ideas? This thing does play MP3's right? |

Are you sure they are MP3? Are they tagged right? The View sees the tags not the folders.
Are you using MTP or MSC mode to put the songs onto it? |

MTP would not even find the view on the computer. I had to use MSC.
I transferred some over and they finally recognized. I listened to it yesterday and all was wel. I transferred a few more albums over today and now it still shows the ones I deleted. It does not show the new albums I added and every single song that I try to play says bad track. Even the ones I listened to yesterday. I did the firmware updater already and it did not help. I am trying to figure out how to reformat the whole thing now and start over but I am not seeing it. edit.. FORMAT complete. Now lets start back over from the beginning |

works fine now after a firmware upgrade, reformat and setting MSC/MTP mode to auto detect.
Once I start adding more we will see if it happens again |

Weird, I have not ran into this with my View. Sounds like the database is not rebuilding.
