Though we know the differences of the P3 vs. the P2, that particular video does a nice job of making the differences more clearly illustrated..

Nice links iOsasu, thanks for those. It will be a hard decision for me personally, in that I have been very fond of my P2 overall. Still debating the advantages of the Cowon S9 over the P3, not that I need either one really..

At this point in time, I'd say a 32 GB P3 would virtually pry the money right out of my wallet with ease... it may come down to which of these two new players is released in a 32GB version first.

Anyone notice in settings or otherwise any clue of line-in or TV-out on the P3? I've watched so many videos my eyes are glazing over, yet haven't seen it mentioned.

That's something you shouldn't expect. It would only be possible through a docking attachment and not something Samsung would be likely to implement.

Yes, I realize it would require a special cable and that anyone reviewing one wouldn't have one. The Cowon S9 has an option in Settings>Display>TV Standard (NTSC/PAL) which gives away the fact it must have the capability for TV out. In it's recording app there is a mic icon that when tapped gives you another icon that looks like a cable plug to choose. It imples it has line-in, or at least can use an external mic. I was hoping someone with one could check for clues like that on the P3.

I'd also like to know if Samsung has posted the User Manual for the P3 anywhere? There would be evidence in there as well.

As for it being an unlikely thing for Samsung to do, I give Samsung more credit. To me it looks like they are trying very hard to make the best touchscreen player possible. If the P3 doesn't have those features, the P4 should.

Vid-Out was something that we had hoped for with the release of the P2, unfortunately nothing ever came of it. I'd expect the same with the P3.. though hope springs eternal.. as they say.

As to the "P4" we'll just have to wait and see, but I couldn't agree with you more. Since Samsung is merging it's mobile phone and media player divisions, my guess would be to look to the latest phones to see what options will filter down to it's DAPs/PMPs.
