Hey. I recently got a Zen V Plus from my sister. She just got a Sansa clip because the Zen kept acting up. The battery life reader has started displaying random amounts of battery life, and for every song on the player, its length is being described as anywhere between 50-75 hours long.
I was wondering if there was a way to hard reset the player, and wipe everything and se if that solved the issue, as I dont think that this would be a hardware issue. I've Googled it a ton of different ways, but havent come up with a method for doing so yet, so I's pretty sure at this point there isnt a way to do so. If anyone has any other ideas on what might be wrong, Im all ears. Firmware version is 1.32.01 |

Are you sure it is showing in hours? I believe it shows as:
00:00:00 hours:minutes:seconds You can also check out this thread for the Recovery Mode and the reloading of the firmware.

@BobbyRS:
Nah, I thought that for a seconds as well, but it says, for example: 75:42:36 @jkj1962 Thanks for the link, hopefully this'll fix the problem |

Have you at least tried booting into Recovery Mode and doing a Cleanup first (just in case it is just a database issue with reading/calculating the duration) to see if that helps resolve the issue before trying to reload the firmware?
