Best Buy Firmware to UMS?

I've purchased an S3 from Best Buy and likely enough, it carries the Best Buy Firmware. Does anybody know how I can get it to a UMS firmware? It refuses to copy music as a MTP device, and it's irritating me as I can't use it at all due to this.

As of right now, the firmware is 1.54 BB, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

have you tried the korean firmware? it is suposed that it works fot the mtp-ums conversion.
i've got a BB-firmware S3 too and apparently it doesnt works with this firmware version.

i tried it and it only manages to change the BB for KR in the firmware version... but even with that bestbuy firmware it is working fine for me with emodio and WMP11.

same problem here. I can"t switch to UMS

try to rename S3.rom to S3B.rom before dragging it to your player it worked for me
my 1.50 Bestbuy firmware MTP now is 1.12 UMS.
