Default Could the O2 play 720p h.264?

Hi,

Could the O2 theortically play 720p h.264 files (I mean is the davinci processor actually capable of doing it)?

And if so is it only poor firmware holding it back?

If not what is the max the processor can play?

And, what's the max video specs (codec/res/bitrate) you have been able to play smoothly?

Cheers!

It does, I've watched some 720p h264 (baseline, MP4, not MKV). The firmware is still bullshit, moreso than ever - but the O2 does play videos, indeed.

Do you think it is the firmware stopping it from playing higher profile H.264? Or is it a chipset limitation as well?
