I need a Video Converter for my E436F (Free)

Just received the 436F and I love it.

but the only problem is i need a video converter to convert my movies.

Have you tried Format Factory? I have an earlier post with the settings to use (with the E436F, but should work (even under Vista 32-bit).

free zune video converter works, set it to h.264, 320x240, 500kbps video, 96kbps audio.

Thanks!! That program works very well and is reasonably quick compared to some of the other free programs I've tried. My player is a NWZ-E436F.

Yeah, I downloaded it and it works PERFECTLY with my E436F too

It actually works and with no problems very easy steps when using normal mode

Thanks for that... tried the setting, but when trying to copy into the player, it popped an error message about not being the right format.

would you be able to provide a more detailed setting for converting files to mp4.

I tried converting from an *avi, *mpeg to mp4 ( h264 aac), but no go..

any help is appreciated..

Copy the settings that I have for the S639, and this works on ALL the Sony players BTW.

You can also raise or lower the bitrate for audio and video if you choose.

The higher the bitrate, the better the quality, and the LARGER the file size will be.
