Default P3 for sale in Argos
hiya

case you guys havn't noticed on page 425 of the new Argos (UK) catalogue or by typing "Samsung MP3 player" on the website argos.so.uk the Samsung P3 is now FOR SALE!!!

is this real?

has anybody else noticed it?

hopefully this means the U.S will be next. If only they shipped internationally tho. i wouldnt mind paying a bit more for shipping to get the P3 earlier.

O M G but 8GB and 16 both are only around 30 US less than the P2 8 and 16 in amazon.

The P3 should be cheaper. It's made from cheaper materials. Even the battery is smaller in the P3 than the P2.

Ok, but the same video live than the P2 and only 5 hours lees in audio. 30 hours, for me is excelent.

But what concecuencies cheaper materials would have??

P2 was stainless steel despite many beleiving it was all plastic. The P3 is aluminum. Glass screen on the P3, PMMA on the P2. A year later Moore's law dictates prices are less and perfomance better. I'm not suggesting it's less of a device. Just that it cost them less to make.
