Well, this happens about 5 times a day. I'm just listening to music then all of a sudden my View just freezes and like weird lines come on the screen, and I can't do anything,so I have to hold the power button to turn it off. Sometimes it happens when I press something sometimes it just freezes for no reason.I've tried formatting and upgrading the firmware, but no luck. Is something just wrong with it? Thanks

Have you tried reinstalling the firmware via recovery mode? If that does not work, I am not sure what is going on.

I've used it a couple hours and it has freezed twice, so it is freezing less than usual,but it is still freezing. It's probably a coincidence though. Any other ideas even though I'm pretty sure its hopeless now... Thanks for you help.

03022009670.jpg 03052009674.jpg 03052009673.jpg EDIT: Well I've found out that this usually happens when there is fast motion, like when I pretend my View is a drum stick, and I shake it, or sometimes when I just pick it up fast. It has never screwed up on me when it is just sitting on a table. Hopefully this helps in figuring out the problem.

My View was freezing the going into BSOD (blue screen of death).
Upgraded the firmware, no good. Formatted the player, did not help. Replaced the mp3's that were formatted off the player, same problem. Found out that I had a bad mp3 file. Replaced with a good one and that fixed it. |

Forgot to say that it was freezing while scrolling through the files, not actually playing them.
